Infinity Aquatic Centre is proud to announce that Head Coach Tinashe Diego Kahlari represented both Infinity Aquatic Centre and Namibia at the prestigious 2025 American Swimming Coaches Association (ASCA) World Clinic, held in Reno, Nevada, USA, from 2–5 September 2025.

The ASCA World Clinic brings together some of the world’s leading swimming coaches to share knowledge, innovative coaching methods, and the latest developments in the sport. The event provided Coach Kahlari with an invaluable opportunity to expand his coaching toolbox and bring world-class knowledge back to Namibia.

During the clinic, Coach Kahlari was honoured to meet some of the most respected names in world swimming, including Mike Koleber of Nitro Swimming, Dave Durden, and Russell Mark.

Dave Durden is one of the world’s most accomplished swimming coaches and serves as the Head Men’s Swimming Coach at the University of California, Berkeley. He has coached numerous Olympic and World Championship medalists and was the Head Coach of the USA Men’s Olympic Swimming Team at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

Russell Mark is a renowned performance coach and swimming technique specialist who has worked with USA Swimming for many years. Widely recognised for his expertise in race analysis, stroke mechanics, starts, and turns, he has helped develop Olympic and World Championship athletes through evidence-based coaching and performance analysis.

Namibia was among only a few African countries represented at the clinic, making this a significant achievement for both the club and the country. By attending one of the world’s most respected coaching clinics, Coach Kahlari helped place both Infinity Aquatic Centre and Namibia on the global swimming map.
