Tinashe Diego Kahlari is the Head Coach at Infinity Aquatic Centre, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to the program. A long-time member of the American Swimming Coaches Association, Coach Diego is highly respected for his dedication to the sport and his passion for developing swimmers of all ages and skill levels.
In addition to his role at Infinity Aquatic Centre, Coach Diego serves as the Swim America Program Director in Windhoek, Namibia, where he oversees the implementation of one of the most renowned learn to swim systems worldwide. His diverse qualifications and certifications further enhance his ability to provide exceptional coaching.
Coach Diego is a Level 5 Education and Level 3 Achievement Certified Coach with the American Swimming Coaches Association. He is also an Africa Aquatics Certified Open Water Coach and a certified Open Water Official. With a strong foundation in the sport, he holds certifications in Disability Coaching, Distance Training (Volumes 1 & 2), Advanced Backstroke, Advanced Freestyle, and more. He specializes in coaching 8-and-under swimmers, as well as age group sports psychology, making him a versatile coach for athletes of all ages and abilities.
Coach Diego also completed the Technical Training Course for Swimming Coaches with Dean Price of South Africa, Levels 2 & 3.
When Coach Diego is not in the water, he enjoys exploring nature through hiking, staying active in the gym with boxing, or hitting the tennis courts for a game. His diverse interests outside of coaching reflect his commitment to maintaining a healthy and balanced lifestyle, which he encourages all his swimmers to adopt.
We offer certified professional coaches who actively teach and coach. We use our own skill progressions for water safety skills and stroke development.
